Vibraderm Dermabrasion

Vibraderm

What is Vibraderm?

Vibraderm is one of the latest innovations to improve the appearance of skin. As an alternative to microdermabrasion, Vibraderm stimulates collagen production and exfoliates any area of the face or body.

How does Vibraderm work?

The Vibraderm device resembles a paddle with abrasive particles. The medical provider moves the paddle along the skin as it gently vibrates at a very high speed.

Is Vibraderm safe?

Yes, Vibraderm is safe with little risk of side effects. Slight redness for twenty to sixty minutes after the procedure is normal.

What are the benefits of Vibraderm?

Vibraderm evenly and gently stimulates new collagen and exfoliates the skin. The treatment is painless and requires no downtime.

What are the results?

Vibraderm improves mild acne, scarring, hyperpigmentation, poorly textured skin, fine lines and large pores.

How soon will results appear?

Patients will see results about a week after the first treatment; additional treatments are required to maintain results.

How long does treatment last?

A treatment takes around thirty minutes.

What conditions respond best to treatment?

Patients looking to refine skin due to acne, scars, fine lines, large pores or hyperpigmentation respond best to treatment.

Who should avoid Vibraderm?

Patients with severe acne scars, sunburns and extensive hyperpigmentation should avoid Vibraderm. Since Vibraderm is targeted to those with early aging, it is not recommended for older patients or those with skin disorders and sensitive skin.

How does the treatment feel?

The treatment does not cause any discomfort or lacerations of the skin; it is pain-free.

How long do the results last?

Multiple treatments are performed to achieve maximum results. Patients usually undergo four to ten treatments then have maintenance treatments every two to three months.

What are alternative treatments?

Alternatives to Vibraderm include microdermabrasion, chemical peels and anti-aging procedures.

What are the limitations?

Vibraderm requires multiple treatments for full results.
